Plain White Basmati Rice

Ingredients

2-3 servings

Basmati Rice

  • 1 cup long Grain Basmati Rice 

  • 2 cups boiling water 

  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter, drizzle (optional)

  • salt to taste (optional) 


Instructions 

1. Rinse the Royal Authentic Basmati Rice under warm water until the water runs clear.

2. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and then add the rice, oil and salt.

3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the rice is fluffy and the water is absorbed.

4. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
